Dr. William Misenheimer

Chiropractic Associates opened in 1988 to provide osseous hands-on chiropractic services. Dr. Misenheimer adjusts using the Gonstead method, hand-held adjusting devices, and implements instrument-assisted soft tissue work, Nimmo Myofascial Release. He also uses an active-release technique for trigger points and multiple manual physical therapy rehabilitation programs for the spine and extremities.

Dr. Misenheimer’s office provides the area with the only Digital X-ray Machine for imaging the spine. Computerized Orthotics (shoe inserts). Erchonia Low-Level Cold Laser for pain control. During his 36 years in practice, Dr. Misenheimer has been the Chiropractor for many professional athletes. He has worked with Wrangler Pro Sports Rodeo, Bud Lite Pro Water Ski Tour, AVP Men, Women’s Pro Volleyball Tour, and the Men and Women’s Bowling Tour. Dr. Misenheimer has worked with many area college athletes, Including Big Ten National Champion Athletes. He has worked with all the area high schools.

Dr. Misenheimer holds many advanced training certificates, including Sports Chiropractic, Industrial Medicine/Occupational Health, Manipulation under Anesthesia. Misenheimer is a multi-timer winner of the Best of the Best Chiropractor award. Community involvement includes current member and Past -President Monticello Redevelopment Commission, current member and President White County Health Board, member and Vice-President of White County Historical Society, past board member of Monticello Mayor’s (ADA) Americans with Disabilities Council, past board member White County Council on Aging.
